Emergency food and support for people locked in poverty across South London — provided every week at South London Islamic Centre.

SLIC Food Bank

Helping Those in Need

Foodbanks provide emergency food and support to people locked in poverty. In the UK, more than 14 million people are living in poverty — including 4.5 million children.

Food insecurity, social isolation and unemployment affect countless people across the UK who struggle to afford meals for themselves and their families. In 2020/21 alone, around 2.5 million people accessed foodbank services nationwide. Our food bank is here to offer a helping hand to anyone in our community facing hardship.
